Vera Heck is a developer of the MSCI Climate Value-at-Risk Model for physical climate risks. Her prior experience includes data-science consulting for projects across industries and climate-change research at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and Aalto University in Finland. Vera holds a doctorate in climate science from Humboldt University Berlin, a master's degree in hydro science and engineering from the Technical University Dresden and a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Bonn.
