MSCI launches Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Index, Glidepath Corporate Bond Indexes & Developed Markets Climate Tilted Government Bond Index.

Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Index: The index is constructed to measure the performance of USD denominated bonds issued by the Emerging Markets (EM) Corporate Issuers. The spirit of the Index design is to be representative of the market, as well as to be replicable by global institutional investors.

Glidepath Corporate Bond Indexes: The indexes employs a combination of target factors to gradually transition the Index from a replica of a Parent Index towards one with specific characteristics. The transition process involves the reallocation of cash into securities that are aligned to the target factors. The target factors may encompass a variety of elements such as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Score, GHG Emissions or a blend of ESG and GHG Emissions.

Developed Markets Climate Tilted Government Bond Index: The index is designed to reflect the performance of an investment strategy that adjusts the market value weights of the MSCI Government Bond Index - Developed Markets (the 'Parent Index'). This adjustment is based on the emission intensity characteristics of all Developed Markets Sovereign bond issuers.
