Simon Albrecht focuses on geospatial topics at the MSCI Climate Risk Center, such as mapping physical-risk hazards for MSCI Climate Lab, and works closely with the physical-risk research team. In his role, he also drives the firm’s initiative on spatial finance. Prior to joining MSCI, Simon worked for 10 years as a geospatial and air-pollution expert. He holds a master’s degree in climate sciences from the Oeschger Centre for Climate Change Research at the University of Bern.
