Apartment properties led a sharpening decline in U.S. commercial-property prices in February, falling 8.7% from a year earlier. Only industrial properties eked out an annual increase.

Prices of U.S. commercial property fell at an annual pace of decline not seen since late 2010. The index for apartment properties posted the largest drop of any property segment.

Most U.S. commercial-property types posted monthly declines in pricing in October, the latest RCA CPPI results showed.
