Kaisa Saarinen focuses on country-level policy research in the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining MSCI, she was employed as an ESG Analytics Associate at Moody’s, where she assessed Japanese companies’ sustainability performance. On a freelance basis, she has worked on projects including a UNDP-commissioned report on impact investment in China. Kaisa holds a master’s degree in Politics from the University of Glasgow and an MSc in Area Studies from the University of Oxford.
