Abby McDowell conducts research across a variety of nature-based solutions, focusing on improved forest management and agricultural land management within the voluntary carbon market (VCM). She also supports research aimed at understanding investment trends and market dynamics within the VCM. Prior to joining MSCI, Abby worked in the non-profit sector, focused on implementation strategy for environmental policy. Abby holds an MSc in environmental technology from Imperial College London, where she focused on environmental economics and policy.
